Recommendations

Barbara C

I have known Constance Adler Galloway for over 3 years, and I highly recommend her as a caregiver for the disabled and elderly. She cared for my older sister, Bev, who suffered from Huntington’s Disease. Although Constance started as Bev’s landlord, she quickly transitioned to her caregiver when my sister’s mobility and mental state deteriorated. Constance provided outstanding care during the 3½ years that my sister lived with her. She was a fierce advocate for Bev when working with her neurologist, adult day care staff, and ultimately the hospital and hospice staff during the last 6 months of Bev’s life. Additionally, she helped bring joy into Bev’s life whenever she could. Bev attended music events, watched TV, read books and ate delicious, homemade food under Constance’s care. When Bev passed earlier this year, I reflected on the quality of life that Bev had with Constance, even while living with a devastating disease.
