Personal Profile Hey, my name is Miracle and I am a 21 year old woman from Lanett, Alabama. I attended Alabama State Universtiy getting my bachelor's degree in communications. My top three characteristics are patience, love, and understanding which makes me a great communicator and adjustable to people. I describe myself as a free spirit that is loving and accepting of all. The reason I want to care for elderly people is because I can learn a lot from them and to let them know that they are loved dearly. Experience I have never worked in a hospital or nursing home but I have had an ill grandmother and looked after a few elderly women on my street. With my grandmother I had to bathe her, at times feed her and grab everything she needed because she was on oxygen. I didn't sleep until she went to sleep and even then I woke up every hour to make sure she was good. One of the ladies I looked after on my street didn't have cancer but she was just old and could get around but not much. She had a daughter that lived with her but she worked a lot. I would go over in the mornings clean, up make sure she had eaten and taken a bath. After all that was done I would sit and talk to her for hours, leave and then return periodically.
