Elder Care in Marion, Michigan

My name is Teri, I am a physically fit, middle aged, and experienced care provider. I have worked with Diabetes, Cancer, Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's patients as well as incontinence, and will provide letters of recommendation. I am currently working full time with an elderly woman in my home . I am a widow and i live with my medium sized dog Tiffany (71/2 yr) housebroken, loving, gentle, and She offers an added sense of security. I also have two little guys for patient cuddling. I have recently moved from Taylor Michigan to my family home in Marion Michigan I live in a awesome clean three bedroom private ranch style home on 13 acres in a nice area of Marion mi about 3 hours from metro detroit., and have decided to open my home to (two) live in patients, I feel i can provide a happy and healthy family atmosphere to someone who needs it, and provide the best care, while hopefully, easing some of the worry the family has for their loved one. I am good-natured, compassionate, reliable, and professional. It is important to me to provide a safe, happy, and healthy environment while providing care in a way that preserves a persons dignity, self respect, and quality of life. The home is in a great neighborhood, and only a few miles from the city of Marion.. This is a lovely area for anyone who likes to get out and walk or wants to get out but just needs a little help. The rooms are furnished with comfortable beds, a chair, dresser, T.V. and ample closet space. The home has central air, a bath/shower for relaxing, and a nice sized living room for movies or just to sit and two large porches to enjoy the views of 13 acres of country.(My favorite feature). In the summer, the yard has a vegetable garden and a fish pond, flowers, a large deck and lots of areas to just sit and get fresh air. I have lots of movies, books, puzzles, and games to help with entertainment. I provide a minimum of Three meals a day (special dietary needs can be accommodated) I assist to what ever degree is needed with.... Toilet needs Bathing Grooming Dressing Laundry Meals (eating) Medications Walking Whatever else that may be needed for daily living. I have an LPN that will come in when needed to check on general health and to review individuals care plans. I also have some medical equipment if needed.(Wheelchair,toilet chair,walker,shower bench chair medical bed and mattress.)
