Elder Care in Calgary, Alberta

Hello my name is Kristal. Currently in a practicum of Health Care Aide program which will be done end of June. I am looking for a job to start right away after I finish my practicum. I am compassionate and comfortable with elderly people since I grew up mostly of my youth with my grandparents. I also took care of my grandfather for more than a year when he meet an accident and was not able to walk anymore because of a permanent fractured hips. I am dedicated and flexible person. I work for more than 8 years abroad as a caregiver. I believe I have all the training and skills that I will be needing to start my career as health care aide provider. I am confident and comfortable to use mechanical lift and transferring. Also I have certification that might be helpful for the prospective employer includes: Medication Administration certificate, foot care certificate, Diabetes care certificate, Supportive Pathway Certificate, Palliative Care Certificate, WHMIS certificate, Food safe Certificate, Best Friends Certificate from Alzheimer Society, Non-violent Intervention Certificate and oral Health Certificate.
