Hello, my name is Katy Smith, however my friends and family call me Daylon. I am 18 years old and am currently hoping to find a job working closely with people. I have an extensive background helping administer medication and taking care of the elderly. In 2008 my grandmother had a stroke that partially paralyzed the left side of her body. Since this, I was always at my grandmothers side assisting her in what ever she needed. In 2016, she found that she had bone cancer. She didn’t go through chemotherapy and was placed on hospice. I helped her through the remainder of her days giving her medication, preparing meals and simply being there for her. I would love to help your family in any way possible. My availability is flexible and can work to your needs. I have my own personal transportation and am willing to learn any new tasks that I may not be familiar with.
