Manoir Renaissance is an Intermediate Resource (assisted living) facility for semi-autonomous seniors with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. We offer individualized care for our residents in a warm, home-like group setting. We work in partnership CSSS de la Montagne, our local government healthcare agency. Dominic worked at Manoir Renaissance for a period of one year in the position of Prepose aux Beneficiare (Caregiver) He left to pursue further studies and other opportunities. Mr. Jardeleza has been a great asset to our facility. His positive attitude and excellent communication and people skills enabled him to meaningfully engage our residents. Dominic was responsible for the 8 – 12 residents. His responsibilities included assistance with activities of daily living in a manner that supports resident’s independence to the best of their abilities. He was also responsible for administering medication including pills, puffers, creams, eye drops, and insulin, under the supervision of our RN. His duties also included reporting and documenting necessary information about residents to the professional team, which includes nurse, social worker, and occupational therapist. Additional responsibilities included providing meals, housekeeping tasks, and facilitating a comfortable and safe environment for our residents. Dominic is an excellent worker. He is intelligent, caring, proactive and highly motivated. He went above and beyond what was required of him. He even took the initiative to sing with residents during snack time to brighten their days. We would be happy to employ Dominic again in the future.
