Email: [email protected]   My name is Dena Marie DeVarney and I am the Director of Client Services for Brevard Affordable Home Care Agency, Inc. We are a smaller agency and I’m involved with all my clients and their families. We take client care very seriously and take pride in our personal touch. We are a Florida Licensed, Bonded and Insured Agency. We are opened 24/7 for all of your needs, even if it’s a quick check in on your loved one. We offer many types of services that your loved may benefit from. Safety and independence is our main goal. All of our Companions, CNA’s/HHA's are certified as per Florida state requirements, CPR certified and First Aid certified.  All employees are background checked, fingerprinted and drug tested through the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration or (AHCA).  We also run a national background check and a County background check every 6 months on all of our caregivers.  All caregivers are involved in continuing education programs, and most HHA and CNA’s are home health medication certified. The caregivers will almost always be the same, as I believe different caregivers in one home can be very confusing for our clients and their families. There is a 3 hour minimum per visit. The following is our rate for services:  Services maybe canceled at any time, there is no contract. $14.50 per hour for hospital sitter services You want to be there with your elderly family member every minute of the day, but you simply can't. Our professional staff can help. We can monitor your loved one while they are in the hospital so that you can get some respite. Our professional, locally-based caregivers are available 24 hours a day to give you the peace of mind that your loved one is not alone. Services can typically be provided in the following facilities: Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Retirement Communities, and Assisted Living Centers. Benefits of our sitter services include: A watchful companion for your loved one and peace of mind for you. We can also help your loved one transition back home so they can maintain their independence keeping them safe. $15.50 per hour for a Companion Companion Services, maintain calendars, arrange appointments, provide reminders for appointments, monitor diet and eating habits, provide transportation to doctor's appointments, change linens, manage the lighting, assist with meals, prepare grocery lists, clip coupons for shopping, check food expirations, record and arrange recipes, provide medication reminders, help with clothing selection, monitor TV usage, buy magazines, organize mail and bills, help with home maintenance, look after home deliveries, facilitate weekly/bi-weekly visits to the salon, assist with personal grooming and a whole lot more! $16.50 per hour for a Home Health Aide – Simple ADL’s- Light assistance with personal care Home health aides make a remarkable difference in the lives of the sick, disabled and elderly. By assisting with personal tasks such as mental stimulation, exercise, medication reminders, wound care, dressing and bathing, and helping to keep homes safe and clean, they allow those who would otherwise need a higher level of care the opportunity to live on their own.  All HHA’s are required to pass the HHA Florida Competency Exam to work with our clients. All of our HHA are medication certified. $17.50 per hour for a CNA – Client needs more “hands on assistance” w/ADL’s and personal care A CNA is a certified nursing assistant. Certified nursing assistants have completed an accredited CNA program and have passed the Florida State Exam for CNA’s.  CNAs help patients with medications, mental stimulation, exercise, and activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming and eating. They also collect important data such as vital signs, and intake & output and report it to the nurse. They work hard to make sure clients and their families are comfortable. All of our CNA’s are medication certified. $18.00 per hour for Couples for a CHHA/CNA and at least one of the clients will need “Hands On” Care. $19.00 per hour for a CNA and the client will need total care/End of life care Please visit our website: http://....com for a list of our services.
