Overview: I have experience in various fields of medicine including Athletic Training, Oncology, Emergency Response, Hospice, Dementia, Phlebotomy, and as a Certified Nursing Assistant as well as a Medical Assistant. I have contributed over one-hundred hours of community service to the homeless population, disabled individuals, children, and victims of sexual assault. I acquired skills in time management, responsibility, and professionalism through a rigorous course of study while attending Colorado State University. This was demonstrated through maintaining a minimum of a 3.0 GPA, double majoring, working, and being an active member of student organizations. I have developed people skills as well as independence and the ability to critically think and problem solve from living in England and traveling through Europe. I am especially passionate, interested, and driven by a large number of disciplines in the medical field. Personal experiences of continued work with individuals in need, shadowing in an oncology office, and working in an athletic training room have helped develop my interest and inspiration of helping people through medicine.
