I am currently a PSW working part-time in a nursing home and seeking to work with clients who need support at home as well.
I had nursing experience in Panama for about 9 years and 3 years as a PWS in Canada; currently finishing the Practical Nurse Program for international nurses at George Brown College.
I speak English and Spanish.
I have experience with patients or clients with dementia and other chronic diseases. I Assist them with activities of daily living such as bathing(shower, and bed bath), dressing, feeding, etc. Also, I assist with transfers, reposition in bed, and mechanical lift. Able to monitor vital signs, and blood sugar.
I have a Police check for vulnerable sector and up to date CPR.
