Who I Am: Hello my name is Marcia. I'm ready to interview for an elderly caregiver job in Maryland. I plan to apply my experience as an elderly caregiver. I will work full-time live-in or live-out. Services And Training: I am happy to help with personal care, simple bowel care, and respite work. I am willing to travel. I have 35 years experience providing eldercare in various capacities. First, as an Administrator of a 15 bed assisted living facility and a 46 bed assisted living facility in the State of Maine for 12 years. I have also been in Sales and Marketing for a non-medical senior care agency. The past 20 years have been spent providing private duty senior care in client's homes. My experience covers a vast range of health concerns such as Alzheimer's, Dementia, MS, Hospice Care, Cancer, Stroke, Parkinson's, ALS, Down Syndrome, CHF, COPD, OCD, Mental illness & Mentally challenged adults. I know how to operate a Hoyer lift, do catheter care, ileostomies, wound care, colostomies. Many of my clients have required total bed care, while others have only needed companionship. I love to cook, clean, organize, decorate, and be the extra set of hands, feet or eyes. I drive and own my own car for appointments, errands or out to lunch.
