Elder Care in Columbus, Ohio

To me when you are a caregiver, you have become whoever you are careing fors family! This is more then a job for me its my life. I have refrences from familys thst i helped for years and one where i only was arounf for a few mouths but every person i have worked for has said something along the lines if "im always welcome in there home" or i treated there dad like family". I started takeing child development in high school where we learned howbto care for children and in that calls there was a chaoter on how simmler chikdren and adults are. In my last year of high school i qulifyed for a program to take 2 collage corces and i took a basic first aid class and a home health call. After high school my grandfather fell ill with cancer and i became his sole caregive because my grandmothet herself was weak. He suffered alot but the things i learned help and hospice gave me classes to help take care of him so i have certifications throw hospices. I learned how to transport psitents in and out imof wheelchairs and in and out of bed saftly. I was talt about medication (i will need a new cerdication beleave this one expires). I can give in bed baths and kep patients from getting bed sores, i can deal eith dementia and also altimeters. I took so msny diffrent corces thst i never became any one thing. I could work for hosoice but i dont want to work with 30 people a day for 3 hours and not see them but one time and them not know me. I think you fsmily member should wake up and know who they are going to spend time with and whos going tk help them get better.
