I am currently looking for employment and am flexible with weekday hours. I have recently graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and am a RHN - Holistic Nutritionist - and am eager to continue my education with my passion in caring for others. I am currently enrolled in a Practical Nursing diploma and have Thursday\'s and Friday\'s off as well as occasional weeknights and weekends. Over the past two years, while working at my recent employment Resonance Wellness, I have expanded my knowledge greatly in holistic health. This gave me the drive to pursue the career in Holistic Nutrition and I have been working full-time while going to school at night for the past year at CSNN. The healthiest lifestyle possible is what I aspire to and the ability to influence anothers life and health with food is fascinating. I live to care for others and I do this very well. I bring confidence to the care I give and in turn make the recipient comfortable and at ease with my presence. I worked in a temporary position at the Creative Tree Early Learning Centre and enjoyed every moment by caring for and cooking for the children. I have also family and friends who I have cared for medically as well as on a daily basis in wheelchairs and feel self-assured with the care I give and am willing to go the extra mile to meet their needs in any way possible. In addition to the above mentioned experience, I have also worked a variety of professions - from retail, to clerical, to construction, to child care which has given me a well rounded understanding of people and how to best serve them. I soak up information quickly and have the ability to think beyond the mundane and am always willing to learn more. I am a hard worker who is loyal to a job and have tremendous expectations of myself and will strive to achieve them. Thank you for your generous consideration. Best regards, Jennifer I have a great passion for caring for others and have recently found my niche with serving the elderly. I have recently taken care of my significant other's elderly parents who have dementia, stroke, blindness, deafness, brain tumor, incontinence, diabetes and are wheelchair bound. I enjoyed the stories they have to tell and I instilled them with confidence for their care with my friendly and patience nature. I have also looked after my grandfather who had alzheimer's, stroke and heart disease before he passed. I have also cared for my father who had his gall bladder removed and I assisted him in hospital as well as in home aftercare and meal planning. He also has had cancer and currently deals with diabetes which I have assisted him with. My mother had hip-replacement surgery from osteoporosis and I was her after-care nurse at home. I have also had friends with Cerebral Palsy and Spinabifida in wheelchairs that I have assisted with errands and home care such as getting into bed and toileting assistance. I learn quickly and feel a connection to the nursing industry and am empowered to serve others. I enjoy the company of the elderly and the disabled and do everything in my power to assist them and make their lives safe, healthy and vibrant.
