I have been a caregiver for 20 years. Provide bathing, dressing and grooming. Cook delicious and healthy meals. Do light housekeeping. Can provide BP monitoring, exercise programs and medication reminders. Can take to doctor appointments and other outings. Good at providing in home activities such as drawing, board games, puzzles and/or reading. I am reliable and on time. Caring and compassionate. Pay attention to any changes in my clients health and notify the proper people. Keep excellent records. And I love my work. I have a calm and giving personality. I get along very well with my elderly clients. I have been with clients for extended periods of times. My last client I was with for almost five years. The client before her four years. And the one before that I was with eight years. I become involved with their families and have been invited to weddings, holidays and Birthday celebrations. I truly feel like part of their family. I love animals and do not mind if my client has pets. In fact, I adopted my last client's cat because one of the other caregivers became allergic to it. She is now a part of my cat family and doing great. I love outdoor activities such as bike riding. I have friends that love it as much as me that I ride with. I love gardening, although I wish I had a lot bigger space to grow all kinds of vegetables, as I mostly do tomatoes & blueberries.
