My name is Giana Warner. I am a loving wife and mother of 3 beautiful girls. I am a cerified personal support worker since 2008. I love helping people. I have always loved helping people. Its my passion. I am certified with First Aid and CPR plus AED. I originally got into this field because I never wanted to see my parents and family members ever worry about being taken care of. But when I started practicing in the community I realized how much want or need there is for people to stay in their home as they get older. Thats why I do what I do. I have helped many people stay in their homes for as long as they wanted because it hard to transition from your home to a place where it will be easier. I have also been in a number of facilities so clients still get their familar face when it seems like there is no one you know. I give professional compassionate care based on the needs and preferences of each individual client. I am there to care for them they way they are comfortable with. I also love the stories and interactions with clients. They have lived their amazing lives and I love to hear about. I am a people person who just loves helping people. I go above and beyond butnot outside my scope of practice. I am strong and adaptable to every situation. I work well independently or in a team. I graduated with honours from Niagara School of Healthcare in 2008. I have worked for the Red Cross, Niagara Center for Independent Living as well as privately in many homes. I also cook and clean and have WHIMIS training as well as First Aid and CPR plus AED. I love what I do and would be honoured to be offered a position. Thank you.
