In addition to striving to be an outgoing and personable individual, as my interests and talents may indicate, I am a mature and serious young person who is ready to do work with great responsibility as is required in the caring professions. My experience working with adults began in highschool when I began volunteering at a nursing home for elderly people in primarily companionship duties, but also helping facilitate group activities for the home. I also have experience as a home-support worker for an adult with bilateral hemiplegia. I also have experience as a volunteer in a community mission here in Montreal where I have been volunteering since February preparing a community breakfast and helping with food bank which brings me into contact with adults with a whole range of mental illness and learning disabilities in addition to those with issues of being low-income and homelessness.
