Elder Care in Novato, California

Hello, I am 45 years old and I am an experienced care giver with up to 10 years of experience. I am caring, trustworthy, always concerned about the well being of others, very patient and compassionate. I am also an intuitive healer for 28 years. I used to include healing sessions for my seniors patient in order to relieve some pain, bring a general relaxed state and to stimulate blood circulation by targeted gentle massage once a week. ( In addition to a Care giver/Special needs work, my skills may be performed on request only with an extra fee ). I am looking for a preferably full time day/overnight position but I am open for a part time job as well. I am open to discuss about time which can be adjusted. My previous experiences included : - Part time senior care giver in a retirement home ( duration: 3 years ) - Elderly with paraplegia condition including a disability of language ( duration: 6 years ): This lovely lady was perfectly lucid of her condition. She could only move her head to answer "yes" and "no". As she understood everything but couldn't speak, I developed with her many funny ways to communicate better and it worked very well ! I worked for her in her home for 6 years. Some months during the day and others at night and often both. I learned how to transfer my patient from bed to wheel chair, to shower, to toilet, dressing, bathing, bill payment, property management, cooking etc... I also did a general healing session once a week and a targeted and gentle massage every 2 day to improve and stimulate blood circulation mainly for her legs. - Elderly with Alzheimer condition ( duration : 4 years ): 75 years old lady with at the beginning, middle Alzheimer condition for the first 2 years and then severe Alzheimer condition for the next 2 years. Work during the day included recreational activities, outdoor exercises ( walking, stretching ), household duty and maintenance, shopping, cooking, bathing, dressing, dementia management. Here again, I did a healing session once a week mainly to create a general relaxed state as this lady was nervous and felt insecure very often. Healing sessions helped a lot to manage these issues. I worked for her in her home for 4 years. - Part time Overnight special needs (ALS) disease (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) for 5 months. - Full time Elderly with mid dementia for 7 month. Very good references and great resume upon request. I live in Novato and I am willing to drive up to 25 miles. I am looking for a full time - Part time job. I have a reliable transportation and a clean driving record. I am American citizen as well.
