I was a certified nurse's aid where I lived and had many jobs caring for elderly people. I have helped with hospice care, Alzheimer's, dementia, cancer, and people who need basic care such as bathing, meal preparation, companionship. I did not renew my certificate when we moved to another county because I would have had to pay over 5,000 to take a course I know very well.I do have my legal work saying I completed the nurse's aid program though. I will do overnight care, day care whenever I am needed. I really like elderly people and have always had a great rapport with them. The only thing I can not do is give shots.
