Elder Care in Ottawa, Ontario

My name is Samantha Bellefeuille and I am an online student at St Lawrence College for Early Childhood Education. Ever since high school I had been volunteering at the senior homes and going to play games with seniors, have chats, sing and paint nails and just overall keep them company. Three years ago my grandmother moved in with us and I have been helping take care of her ever since. I love to bake and cook for everyone along with keep her company! In high school I used to go into the senior homes and volunteer and help wherever I was needed. I would keep the seniors happy and talk with them or play cards. I also used to sing and paint their nails. My grandmother moved in three years ago with my family and I have been helping to take care of her ever since. She has dementia and needs alot of one on one care.
