I learn quickly and am extremely interested in personal growth and ongoing professional development. * Provide direct care, support, guidance and supervision to each resident * Monitor residents for health concerns and seek medical assistance when necessary * Assist residents in obtaining and taking medication * Promote opportunity for regular exercise * Follow dietary recommendations by family and medical professionals * Assist and educate residents in personal hygiene routines * Assist residents in choosing appropriate clothing in relation to the weather * Document any significant or pertinent information in the staff communication book * Document information in all residents’ individual Case Books and program binders * To administer and document medication * Abide by company policies as outlined in the Personnel Policy, Program Policy and Health and Safety Manuals and protocols * Document any monies taken from resident’s finances or petty cash * Conduct nightly security checks of residence every evening * Function as a member of the team by sharing responsibilities, information and ideas * To undertake special assignments as appropriate to the needs of the agency or residents * Organize outings that are suited to the individuals needs * To undertake special assignments as appropriate to the needs of the agency or residents * Organize outings that are suited to the individuals needs * To Identify and provide creative leisure and recreational activities * To ensure that programs are supportive to each resident specific needs
