Recommendations

May 26, 2016 To Whom it May Concern, It is with great pleasure that I recommend Marsha McCulley as a gifted, knowledgeable, and highly experienced primary caregiver. My 88-year-old grandmother, Charlotte Sherman, is bedridden and requires advanced 24-hour care, which Marsha has consistently and lovingly provided for the past 6 years. She has monitored and treated my grandma’s multiple conditions, including progressive supranuclear palsy (PNP), diabetes, congestive heart failure, and bed sores. Marsha has built excellent relationships with my grandmother’s primary doctor and the team of hospice nurses. Many have individually commented to our family that Marsha has a sixth sense about her patients and is truly a “lifeline” for my grandma. Her finely tuned instincts are unparalleled – often surprising surgeons, doctors and nursing staff with their accuracy. Marsha gets results when no one else can. In addition to taking impeccable care of my grandma physically, Marsha has had a tremendous affect on her emotionally and psychologically. With her larger-than-life personality and heart of gold, Marsha has brought laughter, music, fun, and the aroma of cooking back into my grandma’s home. She develops relationships with her patients that increase quality of life by adding meaning. I would go as far as to say that during the most difficult periods of my grandma’s degenerative condition, in addition to family members, Marsha has given her the will to go on. She is the only caregiver in the last 10 years that has given my grandma a voice in her own daily life and a choice. And that has resulted in a renewed sense of dignity, control and involvement for my grandma. My extended family and I trust Marsha with my grandma’s life, which she has saved multiple times over the many years. Marsha has truly been a gift to our family. I will be forever grateful to her. For all of these reasons and many more, I whole-heartedly recommend Marsha McCulley as an experienced caregiver to any family seeking support for their loved one, or any facility/hospital looking for staff members. She is and always will be the best medicine. Sincerely, Kimmie Fadem Granddaughter of Charlotte Sherman 323.646.4554 [email protected]

"Someone you can't be without." That's how I describe gifted Marsha McCulley. The care she gave my mother, Charlotte Sherman, was "second-to-none," as my mom herself would have said. No matter how difficult my mother's life became, health-wise, it was Marsha who was able to coax her, nearly till the very end, to eat, smile, talk and yes, sometimes even laugh. Marsha has a way of managing not only one's physical needs, and my mother's grew to be considerable, but of somehow touching that person's soul. My mother loved Marsha. She gave Mom her dignity, treated her with respect and encouraged her to make her own choices (when your world shrinks, in time, to the confines of your bedroom, how much it must mean to still have a say in what you'd like for breakfast, what TV program you most want to see). Though doctors had given up on Mom many times, it was Marsha who believed in her, who literally saved her life numerous times, who "read" Mom's body signals and gave her a reason to live as long as she did. For the quality of care that Marsha, with her bigger-than-life personality, delivers, words alone are inadequate. My entire family remains grateful to Marsha.

Marsha McCulley is hard working and more than just an elder care professional, she also became my grandmother's friend. Her hard work, dedication, and friendship kept my grandmother alive and happy for years longer than we thought we'd get with her. We are forever thankful and fully recommend Marsha.

Writing this recommendation for Marsha McCulley is truly our privlege and pleasure. Marsha is a very kind person that took care of our Mother for over 6 years. In life two of the most special qualities one can have is compassion for others accompanied by a Big Heart of Gold. These qualites are the core of Marsha. Eldercare is not only caring for a person in need, but also being there for support and strength for the family. Medicine and technology are an ever expanding field, but it takes a special person to help administer and comfort the person in need as well as the family. Marsha became a special friend to our family and gave our Mother endless strength. You will very seldom find a person that is as special as Marsha. If you have the opportunity to bring her into your life, you will not be sorry. We will be pleased to personally talk to anyone that may be considering Marsha for such a special position.
