Elder Care in Dallas, Texas

Our father passed away last week after battling a very debilitating form of Multiple Sclerosis as well as advanced acute Leukemia. We would like to help his incredible caregiver find a new family. She was living with dad, and caring for him around the clock, 7 days per week. Her heart is a heart of gold, she gave my dad not just the physical care he needed (diaper changes, meal prep and feeding, bathing, the list goes on and on), but she gave him the social company that he loved. Her and dad formed such a special friendship during her tenure with our family. She is one in a million, and we would like to help her find a new family to care for. She is looking for a live-in position, and while she unfortunately does not drive, she she will never treat her job like a job. She will treat you like family. Our dad was nearly completely paralyzed, but he was always clean, well-fed, happy, and had a lot of social interaction in his days with her. She cooked him healthy meals, took his temperature and blood pressure daily, wore sanitary gloves whenever handling him, kept his sheets clean, the house clean. She loved sitting by him and talking to him, hearing his stories. She prayed with him. She is just incredible. She is a simple woman who doesn't ask for much in life but to help others.
