Elder Care Job in Richmond Hill, Ontario

We are looking for a live-in caregiver for our mother who is living with ALS. This person MUST have experience working with ALS patients. The person should be knowledgeable about: - PEG tube feeds/medication administrations - Cough assist machine - Oral suctioning machine - BiPap machine The caregiver will be responsible for helping our mom with all things related to personal care, housework, feeding, medication administration, and overall general care as needed. We are looking for someone who is patient, kind, and has a warm heart. The caregiver needs to be able to help our mother in a supportive and soft way, while also being very careful about all things that could pose safety risks. The caregiver needs to work as a team, making sure we are updated on my mom's health status and that accurate reports are given to her doctor who visits weekly and the nursing care that she receives daily.
