Hello, my name is Rebecca (Becky), and I am a 41 year old woman. I have worked for 6 years in the Geriatric Health Care field, and I have a special place in my heart for those that are getting older and may have limits in mobility and thought processes.    I have worked with 2 Clients in 6 years, one a married couple, both deceased and a 93 year old woman also deceased. I have no problem doing the tasks required in taking care of the elderly, I know how to give a bed bath, turn a bed bound patient to prevent bedsores, and many other things, including check blood pressure, and insulin levels and giving insulin shots. I have worked with a diabetic patient so I understand how to care for them and even how to cook for a Diabetic and Renal Diet :)!   While not formally trained ( I took courses at Kaplan University for Medical Assistant but have not obtained my degree as of yet) I have years of hand on experience and a heart for the people I care for.  SKILL HIGHLIGHTS: Understands mobility assistance needs Able to lift over 80 pounds Understands medical procedures   Trained in grooming and bathing assistance Calm and level-headed under duress Quick problem solver General housekeeping ability Valid AL driver's license Great cook Natural born caretaker Homebody
