Elder Care Job in Calgary, Alberta

We have a 77 year old mother that has recently suffered a stroke. This has left her with her left side paralyzed. This is a live in full time position we are not offering any sponsorship. Candidate MUST be eligible to work in Canada. Salary is 2500 per month. She will require bed/bathroom transfers, we are looking for someone caring, and compassionate. This is a 6 day a week position with Sundays off, vacation 2 weeks. Our mother goes to bed around 9:00 pm but we will require you to be with her from the moment she wakes up until the moment she goes to bed. She does wake up in the middle of the night at times to go to the washroom which you will need to assist with. You will have your own private bedroom and the entire basement to watch TV and relax. Position requires, daily household duties, cleaning, cooking, laundry, mopping/sweeping floors, cleaning bathrooms, changing bed sheets once every 2 weeks, accompanying our mother to her therapy sessions, booking the handibus, bathing her twice a week, daily hygiene, weather permitting walks outside with her wheelchair, and just anything my mom requires.
