Job Overview: I hope you are having a good day. I am hoping to hire a person living in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. I'm planning to chat with a seasoned, disciplined employee with daily availability. Services And Training: My father has dementia and we are looking for a care companion to help him socialize and establish routines. At first it is someone who will take him out for a walk and maybe play games with him or help him do activities. This could include helping him learn how to take the HandyDart to the senior center for an activity. Going with him to the a seniors activity/session to make sure he is comfortable and knows where to go. If he gets confused, someone is there to guide him. The hope is that he will eventually be able to gain a bit more independence. Our best-possible service provider would have at least a year of experience. We are looking for someone who can commit to working with my dad for 2-3 hours, 3 times a week. Notes On Availability: We can be flexible for the right candidate.
