Please only apply if you are available to work in southeast Wisconsin (Kenosha County), United States. My father is paralyzed on his left side and requires diapering and total care. Familiarity with using an electric Hoyer lift or Sara lift to transfer him or a willingness to learn is a plus. He recently had a feeding tube and a catheter placed. My father needs assistance with physical, speech, swallowing and breathing exercises, and doing a few simple cognition activities or games. Light housekeeping, meals for my mother, and keeping track of supplies. Current needs are Wed. and Thurs. 8:00 am – 5 pm and Fri. - Sun. 8:30 am - 8:30 pm. Shorter or split shifts are possible. Fill-in and holiday positions available as well. Prefer reliable non-smoker and willingness to accept payment through the VA. Salary commensurate with experience.
