It would be my pleasure to meet with and become acquainted with you and your family member in need of care since each person is so unique. I am very easy to get to know, have a deep compassion for those who are ill or incapacitated in any way. I am trustworthy, honest, kind and considerate to everyone I have ever cared for. I also come with a keen sense of humor that my clients/patients seem to love. There are so many hurting people in the world (all of us to one degree or another) and although I do not claim to have all the answers, I promise that I will be as gentle, kind and will use my knowledge and experience to bring comfort and blessing to your family member. Yours truly, Birdie I have had experience in home care which has included bathing, giving meds, usually blister packed, dementia patients, palliative care, soaking wounds, body sores, applying appropriate dressings, bed baths, personal hygiene care such as pericare and changing diapers etc. assisting with getting patient in and out of bed to wheelchair or walker, meal prep, light housekeeping and being a friend, listening, understanding their fears about life and their futures.
