Elder Care Job in Westbrook, Maine

Experienced in-home caregiver needed for a 47 year old woman near downtown Westbrook with physical disabilities (spinal cord injury from the waist down). The client needs these services for Sundays (8am-2pm, or something comparable). Client lives in her own apartment and is articulate/ has a solid understanding of her needs and is able to provide verbal guidance regarding aspects of her care. Personal care tasks include catheter care and bowel care (as needed); using a hoyer/ patient lift (regarding bodily transfers from bed to wheelchair); and dressing. Other tasks include light house-keeping (i.e. laundry, sweeping, meal prep, etc.); and occasional errands outside the home as needed (i.e. shopping). Employee will be compensated with MaineCare funds which will be paid on a bi-weekly basis at $9.00/ hr (no benefits offered) Feel free to message me with questions.
