I'm Bernardita, married with a 14 years old son. Aside from being a nanny/mother to my son, I used to be an elementary school teacher in Western Mindanao State University for more than 10 years. Having the said experienced gave me the chance to encouraged and motivate the kids aside from teaching the subject. I also had the chance to be transferred to the college of the same university because I'm also a registered nutritionist dietitian. I taught subjects on, foods and nutrition, food safety and nutrition education to nutrition and nursing students for more than 5 years. Likewise in this field, I called students whenever there are concerns. I used to facilitate trainings on EQ and SQ (Emotional Quotient and Spiritual Quotient) since 2009 up to present. Having the said training gives me the opportunity to know myself even better and able to relate to other people\'s needs especially in terms of their emotions. I also learned and practised the TQM principle (Total Quality Management ). The said principle pertains to doing things in excellent way. I give my heart and soul whenever I work because I give Honour and Praises to God showing his greatness in everything I do. I\'m a person with compassionate heart, one who is willing to serve not only my family but the humanity as a whole. I\'m open for learning and flexible enough to discover my inner potential so I\'ll be more productive in serving others. I have so much passion not only on my health but on holistic wellness as a whole. You can have my full trust and confidence in carrying out your expectations because I have pure intentions and has the heart to serve. I took care of my grandparents for more than 2 years in the Philippines. My grandmother is a diabetic and has dementia while my grandfather is bedridden due to an accident. I have done companionship, personal care, helping them with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, meal preparation, helped them to take medication on time, personal hygiene like changing diaper, elimination/toileting. Here in Canada, I took care of a 72 years old lady with Alzheimer disease for seven months. Its a round the clock job. I walked my client every hour, have done companionship, personal care and support, helped her with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding. Do light housekeeping, meal preparation, helped her take medication on time, personal hygiene including elimination/toileting and assisted the client to safety using the commode and assisted to and from the bed.
