Elder Care in Ottawa, Ontario

I would be very interested in working with one or more adults with special needs. I am a very patient person and make sure I take the time to ensure that everyone is being understood. I work well with routine which I have come to learn does individuals with special needs well. I like going on outings and doing physical activity with them as I feel this is important for them to experience. I have volunteered for 8 months at a day program with adults with physical and mental disabilities. We have gone on outings, I have run activities, served lunch, assisted in program set up and take down. I am comfortable dealing with individuals with special needs.
