For the last five years, I have been doing/done the following: > take care of elderly who has dementia (most of them with Alzheimer's disease) - help them with personal care, assisting with their medication, household chores > elderly with special needs (i.e. legally blind) - with in dwelling catheters, wheelchair bound > non-elderly quadriplegic - bowel routine, suppository insertion, shower, manual and ceiling lift transfers, range of motion exercises > completely dependent elderly (late stage of multiple sclerosis) - helping with shower, bowel routine, mechanical lift transfers, assisting with feeding, applying condom catheters as well as medication administration > non-elderly male client with cerebral palsy - help with shower, use of ceiling lift for transfers, condom catheterization > elderly wheelchair bound female client with simple dressing on coccyx > diabetic elderly - checking blood glucose level > palliative care - elderly with cancer and respite care for family > elderly with parkinson's disease
