Elder Care in Fort McMurray, Alberta

I started out as a nanny in Manila (the Philippines) in the 80s and proceeded to Hong Kong, also as a nanny, and then went to Montreal to work as an elderly caregiver. Following that,I worked as a babysitter for the same family for a period of close to 12 years before going to work in a hotel as a chambermaid. I enjoy cooking quite a bit, and am not at all shy about work. I respect people and work to earn their respect as well. When I arrived in Canada in 1986, I came in under the Canada Live-in program (adult care), and proceeded to care for a family for two years. Later, I worked in a retirement home in Montreal for a brief period before going on to do other work, including child care (babysitting). Between 2006-201..., I worked as an elderly sitter/caregiver, for various employers in Montreal My worked involved sitting of elderly mainly immobile octogenarian. Tasks included watching, bathing, administering medication. Work on a part-time basis. I also did general cleaning, cooking and home arrangement. From 2004-present I worked for Eva Koll in NDG, Montreal. The worked (part-time and on-call) involved sitting of Eva’s sister with Alzheimer’s. They are in fact like my family members because I previously took care of Eva’s grandchildren. The patient was eventually transferred to a care facility. As well, I do occasional sitting of Eva, as well as general cleaning, cooking and home arrangement.
