I have worked with seniors most of my life, and enjoy listening to their stories, and giving them a helping hand when needed. A nice hug or a light touch of the hand is a great way to make a person feel comfortable and more at ease. when I feel a person is frustrated, I ask what is wrong and urge them to talk about things, while I listen to their concerns. I take pride in being able to calm a frustrated person down, whether it be because of a bad dream or just frustration. Enjoy playing cards, going for walks or outings or just sitting and chatting. I have worked with seniors in a hospital setting, and also long term care as well as assisted living. I have assisted with changes, turns, light housekeeping, feeding, and general assists with daily living. Transfers to wheel chairs or bathrooms, and bathing if needed.
