Elder Care in Vancouver, British Columbia

I have cared for members of my own family so I know how it feels like to want to have a trusted and caring person to care for your loved ones. I am always diligent to allow people their dignity regardless of their situation and needs. I haven't dealt with adults professionally, however I did help taking care of my late elderly grandmother. My duties were taking her to doctor appointments, cutting her nails, helping her to the bathroom, shower etc after surgeries, preparing meals and cleaning. Also my brother has a mental illness and besides the basic duties of cleaning and cooking I made sure that the environment was as calm as possible for him, entertained him in conversation when he was up for it and taking out for certain social occasions.
