Elder Care in Halifax, Nova Scotia

I am studying to become a physiotherapist that has given me experience working with seniors and persons with disabilities. I enjoy helping others in areas that I am trained in. I am currently enrolled in school part-time enabling me to work full-time. I have completed two work terms for my physiotherapy care requiring me to work with adults. This involved adults receiving outpatient physiotherapy care as well as in-patient. With in-patient care, I was required to assist with patient transfers, walking and exercises. On occasion, I would assist with meals, dressing and going to the washroom.
