I am writing to apply for a full time Care Aide position in BC. With my experience, education and skills, I believe I would be a suitable fit for the position. My 20 years’ nursing experience in China allows me to care for patients with warmth and compassion and, accurately read charts and administer medication. My responsibilities as a Health Care Assistant in CPL Healthcare Ltd & Belgrave Nurses Bureau Agency in Dublin, Ireland for 6 years were similar to those of a Care Aide, including general housekeeping, bathing, dressing and grooming people with disabilities. Having worked in several countries in hospital and nursing home settings, I am fluent in English and Mandarin and, I am comfortable working with patients from diverse backgrounds. Being a team player who is flexible, hardworking and a fast learner I am confident I would be able to effectively fulfill the requirements of a Care Aide.
