Elder Care in Toronto, Ontario

I am currently in my final year of Nursing at Ryerson University. I have years of experience with taking care of seniors. I have previously worked as a caregiver/companion for an elderly lady with Alzheimer\'s disease during my summer break in 2011. I was responsible for assisting her with personal hygiene, toileting, grooming, medication administration, meals and some light housekeeping. From 2009-201..., I have experienced working with a diverse patient population from a rehabilitation setting to long term care to a medical surgical unit in the hospital. Through this experience, I have become a well rounded person who is very adaptable and flexible. I am a compassionate and caring individual with a passion for helping others. I also have great interpersonal skills. I am able to form therapeutic relationships with my patients and professional relationships with colleagues.
