Elder Care in Halifax, Nova Scotia

I am a very down to earth person. I get a long with most people, and I have a great need and drive to care for and help people out. It has been my calling for a long, long time. I have taken care of my grandmother since I have got my drivers lisence, and have since gone over at least once a week, sometimes everyday for several days if she needs me. I have done major cleaning for her, and light cleaning. Helping her out with simple tasks, or just standing by as she did something, that she wanted to try and do herself, stepping in if there was ever an issue. I also have experience working at an Emergency Shelter for women, and worked there for 17 months before I moved to Halifax, and I have a lot of experience with working under stress, and sometimes serious situations. So, I can work under pressure with ease, and have seen a lot, despite my age. All my experience is with my grandmother, who is like a second mother to me. I have prepared food for her, done light and heavy duty cleaning for her. Driven her to appointments, ran errands for her, picked up percriptions, dressed and have bathed her.
