I am a highly motivated young international educated physiotherapist. Patient Companion, Hospital Elder Life Program Toronto Western Hospital, Toronto 2012 -present • Provide companion to elders engaging them in therapeutic and leisure activities • Walk with patients and help them increase range of motion with a goal of keeping their mind and bodies active during their stay in the hospital August 2010 to October 2010 I integrated a multidisciplinary team in the geriatric clinic CAPREDENA, where elders receive health attention 24 hours a day. The objective was to get the fullest physical potential according to the patient’s chronic diseases and impairment and to maintain a state of optimal health. We applied respiratory physiotherapy techniques and locomotive exercises. June 2010 to August 2010 At the Villa Alemana peripheral clinic, the work consisted more specifically in physical therapy area that is dedicated to treat and prevent of various pathologies in Chilean seniors. Therefore, I did personal treatments for patients, educational workshops and segmental gym classes.
