I am a current student completing a Diploma in professional counselling. I have recently started to work with adults in a day program setting. I have experience and training for working with adults with varying needs including physical health, mental health, and community support. I have in home experience with children and I believe that I can apply this knowledge to in home care with adults. I feel that I can learn a lot from my clients and I am always up for a challenge. I am currently worked in an adult day program with adults who have developmental disabilities and am trained to their specific needs. For example: toileting, prescription medication, preparing meals, feeding, dietary restrictions, seizures, diabetes, allergies/food intolerance, mental health (anxiety disorders, mood disorders, schizophrenia).
