Elder Care in Calgary, Alberta

I am a 56 years old female looking for employment in caring for adults and children in their home on a full-time or part-time basis. I have worked for the past 32 years as a registered nurse in Ontario in a hospital setting as well as with Bayshore as a visiting nurse. My experience includes caring for new moms and newborns, post-op surgical patients, the elderly and children both with and without physical disabilities. I have recently worked for 2 years on a Palliative care unit, caring for dying adults in a family centered care setting. My husband and I recently moved to Calgary from Ontario to be with family. I am looking for a change from the fast paced, stressful hospital setting and would enjoy caring for clients in their home. I am married and have 4 adult children with lots of life experiences which would make me a great choice as care giver for yourself or family member. I live a healthy life style, eat healthy and exercise. I speak English fluently. I have a current CPR certificate and several courses. I have a license to practice nursing in Ontario and am waiting for paperwork to apply for a license to practice nursing in Alberta.
