I have taken care of my bedridden grandfather for 1 1/2 year. My responsibilities include providing bed bath, feeding, transferring from bed to wheelchair or vice versa, providing range of motion exercises, and administering medications. I also have a 6-month experience taking care of a 60yrs. old stroke patient. My duties include assistance in rehabilitation process, assistance in the performance of daily activities, proper exercise, administration of medications, assistance in diet and lifestyle modification, and teaching the use of walking devices.
