Hi, my name is Penny Wall. I am an experienced parent and have completed a PSW course through Georgian College. I am also an experienced parent of five grown children who are all healthy, happy and employed. I have experience on the medical floor of a local hospital as well as a nursing home where I was comfortable with the practical care and the palliative care patients. I enjoy cooking, cleaning and errands and own a reliable vehicle for shopping and transporting children to and from school. I have spent six years working on the medical floor of a local hospital and then have completed a PSW course through Georgian College in 2000. In the practical component of my course, I spent time at a local nursing home and a short time with a home care provider. My experience was general but I was very comfortable with a patient who had a lot of physical needs and the palliative-care patients. I have raised a large family so I am an experienced cook, enjoy cleaning and own a reliable vehicle for errands, shopping, etc. My personal situation affords me good flexibility during the week.
