Elder Care in Edmonton, Alberta

Hi my name is Pati and have been a Caregiver working with seniors for almost a year and a half. I enjoy working with people and am looking for full-time work in this field. I like to bake and cook for the client and her family as well. I like the client to participate in the baking, cooking and laundry, if possible (I don't want them to feel like I am taking over). I want the client to feel secure and trustworthy of me just like I want the family to feel about me. I live in Edmonton and have 3 adult children going to school. My boyfriend works in Fort Sask. I would like to find a client in the NW, Capilano or St. Albert area. I enjoy reading (and to client), card games, puzzles, gardening, going for walks and will do any errands if required. I prefer to work Monday to Friday, would like to start around 9:00 am and be done by 4:00 pm. The time and hours are negotiable. I hope you would consider me as your Caregiver. Thanks. I have worked with 8 different seniors in my employment. Three were on oxygen, and one had dementia, one was just starting the onset of dementia and one has the start of Parkinsons. I have cooked their lunches and suppers, cleaned their homes, taken them out for groceries, pick-up prescriptions, doctors appointments, hair-cuts and just outings. I have stayed extra hours if the family has asked me.
