Hi Families! I would like you to know that I am a certified Personal Support Worker that willing to provide care for your love one. I am a compassionate person, who loves taking care of an elderly. I am enjoying my job as a PSW especially when I seeing my clients happy because I gave my best care for them. It is a good feeling for me and rewarding when I see them they are satisfied from the care that I give. I am a mature, hard working person. I have the ability to work independently. I am enthusiastic. Always punctual, reliable and dedicated in my work. Previously, I worked as a live in caregiver for more than 3 yrs. Cared for the clients with dementia, pakinson's disease, diabetes, blind, prostate cancer and depression. Safely and efficiently assisted them with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing,toileting, pericare, change diaper, feeding, change condom catheter, assisted in medication, give range of motion exercise, recording observation, housekeepping, escorting them to doctor's appointment. Recently, I finished my placement at Leisureworld caregiving centre as a personal support worker. cared for clients with diverse needs. Provided care with activities of daily living. Cared for clients with physical disabilities, mentally challenged behavior, clients with dementia etc. Safely performed various transfers from minimal assist to full mechanical lift, followed facility procedure for daily clients charting, performed cleaning duties like bed making, tidying etc. record and reporting.
