Hi. My name is Marilyn, 35 yrs old and I am a Filipino. I am hardworking, reliable and honest. I always want the best care for the seniors I was assigned to look after like taking care of my own parents. I am happy helping seniors to live longer, healthy and happy. I am an experienced caregiver for 4 yrs. 2 yrs in Israel and 2 yrs part time in Toronto. In Israel I was a caregiver a an 85 yr old woman. She has diabetes and problems in kidney. I used to check her blood sugar every morning and evening before I give her her breakfast and prepare her medicine. Monitoring her diet and proper nutrition to eat is one of my important tasks. After breakfast I helped her to take a shower and get dressed. I accompany her to the hospital to do dialysis 3x a week. Sometimes I go with her to see a dentist and other social activities like watching movie, watching concerts, visit her friends, go to the hairdresser and do grocery shopping with her.
