I have been a caregiver for the past 40 years. Primarily working with children in homes, daycare and elementary school settings. In 2011, I began working in a seniors only independent living apartment and really enjoyed it. I then got a job with a homecare company and began going into seniors homes and assisted living facilities to provide assistance with activities of daily living when family members could not. Working along side family and staff to provide seniors with assistance became my passion. I enjoyed helping with daily tasks such as shopping, transportation to/from appointments, social outings, light housekeeping, laundry, personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, exercise and an ear to listen. I have my food safe, CPR/First Aid Certificate, a clear Criminal Record Check, Dementia Care Provider certificate and excellent references from employers, clients and their families.
