Hello there to all the families in need of a care taker! My name is Ricki Miedema and I have a wide variety of experience with care taking. I have a passion for watching children, animals, adults and not only taking care of them but gaining a professional and friendly relationship. If you are in need of a care taker I am willing to do animal care as well as care for children and/ or adults. I have just graduated in May of 2014 from the Personal support worker program in Ontario at the Barrie Learning Center. I did a co-op at a community placement called Christian Horizons where I worked with those with mental and physical disabilities and metal health disabilities. I cooked, cleaned, and socialized with the residents, as well as create the weekly food plan and grocery list. When I did my co-op at Victoria Village Manor (Long-Term Care Facility) I worked with the elderly such as getting them ready in the morning and helping them with their ADLS. I also helped with feeding, putting to bed and socializing with the residents. I also did other basic daily tasks such as changing products and bed baths.
