Hello, My name is Sandra and I'm a recent graduate of the Personal Support Worker program. I'm ready to work in my field and look forward to all the people I will have the chance to meet. I enjoy helping others as well as promoting as much independence as possible. Im not the type of person to just sit there on the couch and watch tv, I love to interact with client, do as much as we can do possible. To obtain my Personal Support Worker certificate, I had to successfully complete my clinical hours in a Long Term Care Facility. I had experience in providing companionship, personal care, feeding, toileting, catheter treatment, assisting with walking and activities. I also took care of grandma when I was 16. I had to administer insulin shots on a daily basis and helped out with meal planning, cleaning and grocery shopping. I have been raised to respect my seniors, I enjoy Personal Support Work.
