Elder Care in Burlington, Ontario

Hello my name is Hailey and Im a 22 year old university student studying biology. I have seen first hand the difference just one person can make in the life of someone who is elderly and doesn\'t have many family members to care for them. I know I would want the best for my parents and I\'m more than capable of giving nothing but love and proper care. I accept the responsibility that come with caring for an elderly person but believe they can still live and experience life to the fullest of their ability. My grandfather suffered from a stroke and is now paralyzed on the left side of his body. The last three years I moved in with my grandma to help her take care of him. He lives at a retirement home now but we gave him insulin shots, fed him and changed him. I love elderly people because of the story they all have to tell. I feel very complete when helping them. They deserve better care than what I've seen.
